Express Dual Down UnderExpress Dual and Anglemaster made an unforgettable debut down under at the 2006 Australian Open at The Royal Sydney Golf Club.
Using Express Dual 3000 and Anglemaster 3000 for the first time, course superintendent John Odell saw an immediate impact in the sharpness of his cutting units, as well as an increase in quality of cut.
John had this to say about the tournament: “ Without doubt, all of our mowers have produced a higher quality surface since we introduced the Bernhard grinding system. We are thankful and honoured to have had Chris Stig and Bernhard's involved with our team.”
Bernhard’s Paul Wilcox, along with Australian distributor for Sydney, Chris Stig of PJC Sportsturf, worked alongside head mechanic Ian Widocks and his maintenance staff to keep the Royal Sydney mowing fleet in tip-top shape for the tournament.
Chris said: “The reports we have heard about the event are out of this world. Personally, I have never seen greens like this in all of my travels and the fairways were like carpet – it was in beautiful shape.”
In February 2007 The Royal Sydney Golf Club will host another prestigious event, the 2007 Women’s Australian Open.
With Express Dual and Anglemaster on-site the ladies will definitely have something to look forward to! |
